Windows 8 touch devices to drop to $200, says Intel CEO

Hi there
With a decent 4.7 - 5 inch screen on a smart phone what use is there of a 7 inch tablet.
IMO wrong device at the wrong time.

The Surface Pro is probably the future of tablets and it's not really a "classical tablet" at all -- I'm sure year 2014 will be "The Tablet --- R.I.P". A few who never needed a computer in the first place might keep these but the 7 inch model doesn't really buy you a lot that you can't already do with a smart phone. Hybrids will probably prosper as there are certan advantages in a powerful tablet form factor for Displaying CONTENT -- But for CREATING it you still need a device with PC type peripherals attached -- such as keyboard / mouse / pen / external drives etc.

Cheers

If that happens, it might just save MS from disaster.
