When the op sys can be gotten for free(Android), and the hardware costs about the same for all companies... you get clones. Clones lead to massive competition, and that leads to very small profit margins. It'll be the exact same thing with tablets. Apple will still be able to sell lots of both, but only if they're willing to compete on price at the cost of the profit margin.. something the company has never been able to do.
Well talking about a new version and talking about what the current version needs improved goes hand-in-hand. Not sure what you were expecting.
Good point !!!It is funny how I started this thread to be about the up and coming Win 9 in 2014, and now it has turned into "you either love win 8, or totally hate win 8."
I was hoping for some thoughtful and insightful ideas as to what we just might see in Win 9 in two years time. . .silly me. . .
