Absolutely. And to get rid of the dual boot of Windows it's dead easy.

Go into msconfig > Boot tab > delete the boot option.

Then in Explore just Format the partition with which you have installed Windows 8 on.
It's even a bit easier than that. I only needed to delete the Windows 8 partition/drive from within Windows 7 to also remove it from the Windows Boot Manager screen.

Just a simple query I have sorted my little problem and have clicked on the download which says 4.8GB but my save window says greater than 12 hours. Have I hit the wrong download or done something else wrong because that seems a very long time for a 4.8GB download.

    Hello ICit2lol,

Yeah, you got the larger Windows Developer Preview with developer tools English, 64-bit (x64) one instead of the smaller 64-bit ISO without the developer tools included. That's all.

Thanks Shawn have it on my new HDD partition now just trying to get my head around the dual boot using that drive. Am a little unsure as I didn't want to muck up my 7 installation. Suppose I should have put in another hard drive and kept it handy until I was ready to to do anything.
I might just stick a 500GB in and transfer it to or re download it to that one. (Procrastination a bad habit lolzzzz!)

But as always you have come through with the goods "Hail Caesar Brinkus Maximus!!"

Yes, several of us installed it that way. I have it installed in an Oracle VM.

    Almost done

Hiyya all have almost done - remembered I had a Samsung 1TB with 7 on it so have set it for the master. I might do a separate thread as it really isn't fair on the others not being relevant to this thread.
