Not having much luck here. Tried to install in VMWare, no luck. Tried twice in VirtualBox, first attempt hung at 3% while Expanding files, 2nd attempt hung at 32%. Guess I'll have to try to install on a physical machine.

I'm envious of you guys with the fast connections, took over 5 hours for me to download the ISO!

Got it to install on a physical machine. Typing this from within IE 10!

    My feelings exactly.

I have it installed on a second SSD. It seems to work, but not what I was expecting and not what I like unless I can figure out how to change it. had trouble even shuting down.

I srewed up. I had auto updates on (default) it offered me a graphics card update and partially installed it and then, as normal, said I needed to reboot to complete the installation. B***red if I could find a restart switch, so I restarted the computer which led mne into a cycling repaior ordeal which never got finished. Never give up. reinstalling now.

    OK, maybe I'm missing something...

Say I open an app like Piano...anyone know how to minimize or close out the app? Right clicking brings up a menu at the bottom, but no matter what I do, I can't get maximize/minimize/close buttons to pop up. Any ideas?

    Also, here's a tip.

If you want to disable Metro UI entirely, you can open up the registry editor and change the value of RPEnabled to 0 instead of 1 at the following key: (via NeoWin)
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\
That would pretty much turn W8 back into W7, but I'm sure some people would prefer it.
