Media Center will be in Windows 8, but not right away

In a new post on the Building Windows 8 blog, Windows boss Steven Sinofsky confirmed that Windows Media Center will be in Windows 8. But the code won’t be in early releases, and it’s still not clear how this little-used feature will be delivered.

Personally, I hope MS ditches Media Player in favor of Media Center... make it the default and maybe people will start adopting it!

I like the media player but I kind of agree. But I guess some people want to directly go to the media or might like the ease of media player more I know I do. But they have not updated media player in ages. They used to update like a lot back when I was a kid.
