Can HP TouchPad Tablet exist along side the Microsoft Windows 8 Tablet
The HP TouchPad tablet came out, in part, because HP purchased Palm and was anxious to have hardware available to compete with the iPad; especially since Microsoft was not pushing it’s own tablet as fast as possible. However, the HP TouchPad comes with WebOS. So the question that comes up is, if Microsoft uses HP to build its tablet, will HP abandon WebOS? Or, will HP make the TouchPad Tablet and the Windows 8 Tablet?

HP has had WebOS for many years. It is now at the point that HP is willing to sell devices that has OS other then there own. It's nothing new or something to get into a up roar. I belive most HP laptops sold from late 2008 to current have some fourm of web os. I have only used the older one and it was not that great. It would let you get online and surf the internet and not much else. It was built on HP Quick Play platform.
