Microsoft unify further Windows & Windows Phone platforms

Sweet. This is where MS is excelling, i.e., having a single ecosystem across all platforms. Now they just have to get it done and sooner, not later.

I'm surprised they do that now. Wasn't this the whole idea to force the touch Metro on desktops to make them all be the same? Oh, well, we just make them look the same first, and think about actually making them compatible later...
Now we have x-86 windows, window RT, and windows whatever is on the phone...

will thsi only apply to apps? I mean is the plan to use actual x-86 software on the RT tablets at some point?
(I don't know why we call a program or software an app, its not like software before wasn't supposed to be some application...)

What's so great and what's new about that? Wasn't it the point of W8/Metro's Store all the way from the beginning one year ago?

and its Windows 8/Windows RT apps on Windows Phone.
What's the point of having Phone Apps if you can get Windows apps on all the devices?
