I did not receive a password reset notification so that means that my account wasn't stolen.

Please explain Logic here:

I can give another (but probably less likely one since some people won't have the intelligence to work it out for themselves).

Say someone breaks into an account and finds all sorts of "Goodies". Well instead of a quick "hit and run" maybe the hacker could milk this account over a period especially if the owner didn't know or wasn't aware that it had been or was still being hacked.

Anyway if you use these types of sites you've only yourselves to blame for anything that might happen -- we all know "Corporate Greed" is everywhere so some of these servers will be be hosted in the cheapest countries and by paying people "starvation wages" in the interest (to whom ? - certainly not the USERS of the service) of "cutting costs".

A report about a large international Bank showed a while ago when it had concerns about security did an undercover test by walking around in a certain city in India usually known as "The Call center capital of the world" and within 15 mins was able to get someone to sell the undercover agent a whole list of Bank Credit card numbers with valid pins for around 30 USD -- and if it can happen in this country which has literally 100,000's of off shored technical jobs and a usually very highly educated workforce imagine if people decide to go "even cheaper" to say places like the Philipines or Bangladesh.

Even if you hadn't been notified and you still want to use this type of site I'd change the password and account details IMMEDIATELY.

Cheers
jimbo

The same here...
I'm fine without those EXTRA accounts to keep an eye on.

They'll probably hack Facebook too one of these days and then another catastrophic event rises from it.

Best to change your password just to be cautious. If you're like most people, you probably haven't changed it since you set-up the account, so it needs changing anyway.
