The native mounting of ISO's appears to have been confirmed by Rafael Rivera.

Good to know. That's a thing that missed in Windows 7

Very nice, though i have been using Daemon Tools for as long as i can remember, hopefully i can leave that program behind.

I love this feature. Right clicking on the iso shows the option "Mount", then when one checks in Explorer, theres the mounted dvd/cd. To unmount, right click drive icon, select Eject Disk.

I've used Daemon Tools for quite a long time, but SPDT slows down the drives.

Now PowerISO all the way... no SPDT.

This is great, it's about time they've naitivly supported mounting. It's feature that I think should of been implemented in windows 7.
