If you want to compare the iPad and Macbook Air being cheaper than the Surface Pro then you need to compare both of them together in terms of price. The Surface Pro is an ultrabook and a tablet for about $1200 for the top model with keyboard, if you want to do the same with Mac products you have to buy a Macbook Air and an iPad which will bring you to about $1700. Or how about comparing the Surface Pro to a Dell ultrabook like the XPS 13, sure it has an i7 processor but that's it's only advantage over the Surface Pro. Without even touch the XPS 13 sells for $1650. Also, MS isn't going to undercut the price of the Surface Pro and piss off other OEMs, that's all we need is more whining and crying from Acer all over the media.
