    Can We Put A Windows 8 Progress Bar on This Forum?, i think this would be a good way to keep track the development of Windows 8.

    In order to have a progress bar wouldn't you have to know where it starts and ends

    umm yeah, but we can have like windows 7 rtm on the bottom and predict the milestones such as m1, m2, m3, beta, pre-rc, rc, pre-rtm, rtm, ga.

    I think this is actually a really cool idea. And it will be a lot of fun. John could put it right under The Eight Forums name, and it would look cool if it fit the theme.

    Have it start with 7 RTM, and end with 8 RTM. We can predict dates (I did this on Seven forums)

    You forgot the planning stage....
    Then post beta, post rc and yah builds with Sp1.....

    once windows 8 is out(leaked), it'll be known to all. before that, there'll be n number of romours about it. So you never know know how much truth the progress bar carries!
