Thread: Windows 8 will based on Win7 Post-RTM (winmain)...

After reading the new informations on wz0r, It seems that the winmain branch, will be the base of Windows 8.

Now the work is going in two directions, is to develop a code for the first service pack Service Pack 1 and continued development of post-RTM builds of Windows 7 for the work on the new operating system.

So can we call this build...

Actually, they are based of the NT kernel. XP was based off this too.
