    I think, if MS was smart enough, they would delay windows 9 a little more and make a service pack or two (unless they dont need to) because if they just went from door to door without stopping, they would lose some revenue. If they pause between each development, they can rake in the money from people upgrading with each and every operating system. Windows 7 is not immune to this either. I believe MS should have tried to hide the fact that they are developing a new OS right around the time of the release of 7. I already know people who are not going to buy windows 7 and just wait for 8. If you ask me, that's lost profit on MS's side.
