I read the Wikipedia article on Windows 7 a long time ago, maybe in mid-2008. I read a quote of Bill Gates stating Windows 7 could possibly be centered around hypervisors. Look now, there's a Virtual XP Mode and a new VT software from Microsoft, Windows Virtual PC.

Has anyone else noticed any hints that came true? Maybe we should focus on the subtle hints dropped/leaked by various sources during the Windows 8 development period ... and post them here.
