Hi there.

One of the most annoying things you can get on a computer is when the cursor randomly jumps to another area on the screen making typing input usually difficult or impossible.

This sometimes happens when you use a USB mouse on some laptops -- seems random - often it will occur on ONE identical laptop but not the other one.

If you experience this on a Windows GUEST running on a Linux host it's easy to fix if you are using any Debian based distribution (Mint, Ubuntu, Debian etc).

Simply on the HOST in a console type the following command -- it's space and case sensitive so type exactly.

synclient TouchpadOff=1

This will disable the touchpad on the Host (and the guest) and now you can type away at will

set to 0 if you want to re-enable the touchpad.

Cheers
