    Longhorn 4074 and VMWARE 8 tools


    I know it's a Windows 8 forum, but has anyone figured out how to install VMWARE tools 8.0 on LH4074 ?

    Hi there
    I haven't tried to install that particular VM but there is a general problem with vmware tools and vmware 8.0 and W8.

    The fix was to install vmware tools via the vmware window and not via the small box at the bottom right of the vm screen when in full screen mode. Power on the vm -- switch to Windowed mode and then click from the menu install vmware tools.
