Solved my hyper-v VMs keep shutting down randomly..please help

I am using windows 8 Pro and i have a Sony Vaio core i7 with 8 gb of ram and hyper-v for windows 8 installed and running. Whenever I run any of my VMs from hyper-v, they come up just fine but after around 10 minutes they automatically just shut down when they have been idle. I have set my power options to never for all the sleep stuff including hardware and I have done it in the VM as well, but to no avail. How do I get these VMs to stop shutting down when they have been idle. Thanks

Have you taken a look at the event viewer to see what it said when it crashed?
