Hi there
I'd like to create a "Generic W8 Virtual appliance" which would give people the chance to try a reasonably generalized version of W8 very simply and easily with no work required by them - just download the Virtual appliance -- it would create a VHD and boot from it.
I could ensure that before the process started the user was prompted to enter a valid windows code.
Would I be breaking the EULA by doing this -- I would not charge anything for the "virtual appliance" and Ms activation servers would check the validity of the user licenses.
Just seems to me to be a great easy teaching tool for people who have been put off from trying W8 by the latest load of press articles.
I'm surprised Ms hasn't done this itself yet -- they are promoting a 90 day W8 Enterprise trial so there is nothing to suggest they would find this "Breach of copyright".
Cheers
