It's a brand new system, I'm the only user, my account is administrator level, this is my first time trying to change the password.
Ctrl + Alt + Del: Change password: Enter new password, press enter: wait 10 - 20 seconds: "Configuration information could not be read from the domain controller, either because the machine is unavailable, or access has been denied."
Based on google searches, this error message appears to mostly be associated with windows networks. However, this computer has never been connected to any network, local or internet.
