Where are the login screen pictures stored.?

Where are the login screen pictures stored.? I want to copy one.

Win 8.1

I mean the photo that my laptop took of my face when I created my user account. It is just above my password input on the sign-on screen.

The default user account picture images are in the hidden system folder below.

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Default Account Pictures


The current user account picture (tile image) is stored in the hidden folder below.

C:\Users\Public\Public Account Pictures\S-1-5-21.......(GUID for user account)​


The recent user account pictures used for your account are stored in the hidden folder below.

C:\Users\(user-name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\AccountPictures

I found the pictures on my Win8.1 and copied them over to my Win7. But they seem to be file types that cannot be opened in win8.1.

They are in a documents folder and cannot be seen from:
"Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Accounts\Manage Accounts\Change an Account\Choose Picture"
with "browse for more pictures."

Do I have to convert them?
