I am not sure that this is the right place to ask this (and I do apologize if I am in the wrong place)
I have been running windows 8.1 for about 7 months now and after the whole initial setup and actually using a MS account for setting up the user and computer I realized that I had set it up to automatically use a MS account. After some searching at that time, I figured out how to get rid of that and have the admin account without it being connected to a MS account. Anyway, I was looking in the app store and was not thinking and when it asked me to log into the ms account I did do instead of going for the not recommended option. Now when I start the pc it is automatically connecting again with the MS account and the other account is now set up as a local account and not the admin account for the pc. I have tried option one, two and three since the account that I was using as the admin account and not connected to a ms account was being listed as a local account. and it now states Local Account with Administrator under that for that account but when I log into that account I got the whole setup screen and information for that account. I let it go through all of that but it is not the way it was before I made the stupid mistake of logging into the ms account instead of using the option to log in without the ms account (not recommended). I'll be darned if I can find that information on how to get rid of that ms account as the login option now and I am worried about doing anything else and messing everything up and loosing the admin account entirely. Any suggestions on how to get back to not logging in with a MS account and have the other account as the admin again. Short of using my backup image from almost 3 weeks ago now. Have been trying to figure this out for a week now which was right before I was going to create a new image backup of the computer. Thanks So Very Much
