Hi All,
Why does Microsoft make it so difficult to perform what should be such an easy task ? All I want to do is have a blank account picture on the login screen, this morning I even switched to a 'local' account instead of my Microsoft account, but the account picture is still there. I know there must be some way to get rid of my account picture.

If you like, you could change your account picture to the same solid color as your sign in screen to effectively make it look blank. You could use mspaint.exe to create the solid color image.
Hi Brink,
As we all know..ms windows can act kind of strange sometimes. I decided to create a new 'local' account, that part went ok..of course I had to create a user name & password. I logged into the newly created local account without any problem. I then shutdown my computer, when I turned it back on, the screen showed 'other user'..I was asked for a password, I typed in the password that I had entered when I set up the local account. I was informed the password was incorrect, I couldn't get logged into either account, so the only way I could correct the issue was turning my system off and on several times so I could get into the recovery mode, I did a system restore back to a previous time. At least now I can use my system..and low and behold, my account picture corrected itself..I now just have the 'generic' logo that shows up on the screen.
Weird to say the least..
