Solved How do I remove a Microsoft Account?

Hi, I was trying to Disconnect my Microsoft Account from my main account but I cannot launch the PC Settings app at all. (Same goes for Store + bunch of other apps, tried the tutorial but does not work)

I was wondering if there is a Registry I can edit that will delete my Microsoft account from the one I'm using now, so that I can connect it to the other Local Account I have created because I suspect my current one is corrupted.

Please help me, this is urgent.

After PC settings is fixed, you could switch your Microsoft account to be a local account.

Unfortunately, this is what I get.

This only occurs on my account by the way. I've created a test account on my laptop and all other apps, Store, Windows Apps and PC Settings work. Only on my account, it refuses.

If you like, you could create a new local account for yourself then just delete this account.

So there's definitely no way I can fix this without deleting my current account? :/

How do I transfer my files from my current account to another?
Login from the Local account, cut & paste?

Apologies for tons of questions.

Yep, copy and paste them in the new local account. Be sure to set the local account to be an administrator though.
