Hello.

I have 1 user account in my win8.1 computer. Is it somehow possible to make it auto login to windows after i turn on the computer, but still ask password? So i press the power-on button and while i make myself a cup of coffee it will open all my startup programs etc and then when i return to computer i will just enter the password and start working without waiting for the programs to open?

There are plenty of tutorials how to start without password at all, but not how to auto login but still ask password.
Thanks in advance.

I don't think this is possible. That would be contrary to Windows security model. Some third party could try but it would provide only the appearance of security without the reality.

Asks password instead of PIN

Hello.

After replacing HDD to SSD and reinstalling windows i have small but annoying problem: i have set a PIN, but it still asks for password as default. I have to press sign-in options first, then select PIN and then i can log in using pin.
Maybe i can fix it somehow?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
