Solved Can't remember password on laptop with win 8.1

Where was it misplace to or found at? Is it possible someone else had control of it for awhile? I bought a program called Spotmau PowerSuite, installed and created the bootable CD and can remove Windows passwords [not the BIOS password], it never shows me what the password was but when booting into Windows one can go to Control Panel, Users and create a new one.

Yes, a bad character was in my house while I was away....so he could have done as you say .. I have an easeus backup I may be able to use. First I want to investigate the app you mentioned.
