Exactly what is the benefit to use your outlook.com account as an account when you first boot your fresh win 8 laptop?
I helped my bro in law along the way with his new laptop and he proceeded to use his outlook.com account details as the login.
Call me old school but I've always had separate local accounts on a home machine! What's the benefit now then?
When you change your outlook.com password I guess you need to remember it to log in!? Also are you required to have an internet connection at all tines? Or does it cache the last credentials!?
Hope you van help, I'm very new to win 8 and in about half can hour about to boot up my new machine with win 8 pre installed!!
