I am the administrator on our windows 8.1 PC. My husband has a local account. My account is regularly used by our visiting children & they are used to my set-up & s/w.
Until yesterday, I did not use a password for my account (all sensitive information is password protected by file or folder). Yesterday, I re-installed Microsoft Solitaire collection & since then I have only been able to access my PC account after I have input my Microsoft account password. I find this a nuisance. I want to be the one to determine the security I need & I don't need my account or administrator rights password protected.
How can I get rid of this unnecessary step?
Thank-you in advance for any help you can offer.
