Hi Folks,

Here is my "new" problem. When I set up my seemingly mandatory MS user account when setting up Win 8 I spelled the gmail name wrong. It took it so I then went and created that email address and was able to sign in. I then went in and added the correct email address. I then deleted the wrong address thinking the new one would become the default. Nope it didn't :(.

The email address is still alive and well but MS will not let me sign into the computer.

Any ideas so I don't have to do a complete reinstall "again".

Thanks,
KAHSR

Are you able to still log in under the old email you originally created? Did you also go into control panel to User Accounts > Manage Accounts and make the new email the administrator account?

No I am unable to sign into the original because I "stupidly" deleted it.

No "again stupidly" forgot to do so.
