Solved Removing an Account

In installing windows 8 I made a mistake during account set up (I already have a Microsoft account) that instigated the creation of a new account. The email address used in the set up was wrong (character missing) so I have another Microsoft account with a wholly non-existent email address. How do I remove/erase this account so it doesn't exist anymore??

Hi,

1. Switch to a local account.
2. Switch to the correct Microsoft account.

Thanks for the reply. Perhaps I should have stated that I did another (clean) install this time setting up as a local account; I wanted to go straight to metro desktop without having to put password in. This works fine but I'm assuming that my secondary, and incorrect, Microsoft account exists somewhere in the cloud. It is this that I want to remove
