Email address rejected

Hi

Microsoft Account keeps rejecting my email address saying it must only contain letters, numbers etc. I used the same email address to register for this forum. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Does your e-mail address contain anything beyond acceptable characters? I'd hate competing with Captain Obvious, but then you'll have to use another e-mail address. The fact that you've registered here is irrelevant.

My email is very boring and compliant: a few numbers, a few letters, a @ and 2 dots.
I did experiment a bit: changed a number to a letter and the address got accepted. Only problem is such an address does not exist. It seems their parameters only allow for a certain number of numbers in your address.
