UAC fingerprint problem/paradox!

Hmmmm.....I use a fingerprint reader on my Dell to logon. But I never even though about using it for handling UAC prompts. Guess it's just because my hand is always on my keyboard and mouse anyway, so clicking the button is just so second nature.

The fingerprint log on is great though. I setup my laptop, hit the power button and while organizing my cube I swipe my finger and when I sit down I'm logged in and ready to go.

I don't think you understand my problem. My UAC fingerprint prompt up don't actually work. (When I swipe my finger trough the cencor, I just get an "error"). I don't have the option to type in the password as an alternative either. So I can't turn the fingerprint option off, because this requires UAC permission. The fingerprint option does however work before I log in to my computer (and I have the option to use my password as well). It's the UAC prompt ups that is the critical problem.
