Has anyone seen this error before?
"The Group Policy Client service failed the sign-in.
The universal unique identifier (UUID) type is not supported."
I got the error when signing in with my normal non-Admin local account. I'd just updated to the latest set of patches from Microsoft, and apparently all had installed OK. I then logged in using my Admin-level account - again apparantly all OK - and shut down.
Then when I started the laptop again, I logged in with my non-Admin account and after I'd entered the password, it processed for longer than normal, and gave me this error (only option available ="OK") and took me out to the login screen.
However when I tried again it worked.
But I can't help wondering if something is still wrong...?
