Just got a new computer with Windows 8 installed. I set up my user account with my comcast email, but then later decided I to use my gmail account (mostly because of the POP3 limitation in Win8).
I find there is no way to change the e-mail address associated with that Windows account, so I figured I would simply close that account and create a new microsoft with the gmail id. Did that, but of course the Windows 8 account is now tied to the closed microsoft account (comcast account) - so everything is all messed up now. I see no way to tell Windows "This is the same account, it's just a different e-mail address"
I created a new account using the gmail, but then all my libraries are not associated with that account.. I am frustrated.
Please can someone instruct me on how to change my primary Windows 8 account to log on with a different e-mail address? Any help would be appreciated.
