Did not see a forum for this so I will post here. Today I logged into my ms account in windows 8, during the login process I was able to change my cell number, and then log in. When I try to confirm, it wants to send code to old cell number...went nuts trying to change in at ms account website, and this is what I found out. When I selected "I don't have these anymore, old cell number it directed me to security info, to change number, however in security info it says old info will be deleted 1/25/2013 and new info updated on, you got it 1/25/2013.. so how the hell do I get it updated sooner. And is there another way to confirm, trust PC. with only old cell number.

Hello Henry,

Are you able to add an "Alternate email address" for it to use to confirm with instead?

Well I really did not have a choice, how can I retrieve a security code sent to another number I no longer use...besides that old number probably has been recycled. Funny some one somewhere in the US Northeast is going nuts, I must have sent the code at least seven time accidentally.

Just for anyones info, this is what hapens when you change your phone number in ms account. As you can see the old info and new info are not being updated till 1/25/2013...This means when you try to trust your pc for the next 30 the security code goes to old unavailable number, furthermore you cannot go into billing to add or remove credit info...pc is not trusted so it again asks for code sent to dead number.
