Hello Baccaraty,

If you do not have an administrator account available on the computer to sign in to, then you may just be looking at having to do a clean install of Windows 8. :(

You could try doing a system restore at boot using a restore point (if available) dated before you made this change to hopefully undo it.

The tutorial below can help show you how to set Windows to automatically sign in to an user account at startup afterwards.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Hello staigtg, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Unlike in previous Windows, Windows 8 will not let you boot into Safe Mode or a command prompt at boot unless you are able to provide an administrator's password first by default now. Since Baccaraty no longer as an administrator account, this would be hard to do.

I only recommended a clean install based on his post above so he could just install W8 instead of having to install W7 first and upgrade to W8.
