microsoft account.

Hi there.

I've been having problems with my Microsoft email address, I'm wanting to change it to another email address that associates with my xbox live but when set up windows 8 I used another email address. I've heard from many people and seen many posts that I need to do "windows-c-settings-change pc settings-users-switch account" then go through with everything then my laptop restarts and everything, even says in the corner what Microsoft account I'm using but when I go on to people and check Microsoft account it's still the same one that I don't want. Could anyone help me? It's really frustrating!

I've done all steps followed and this is what I get;

Ah, ok. I got the same thing and had to upgrade my @hotmail.com to a @live.com or @outlook.com account first.

I've upgraded to an outlook.com account and I'm still getting the same message

It will take a bit for the upgrade to be fully applied and synced. You might try again late tonight or sometime tommorow to see if it will work then.
