How to See What User Name a Program is Running as in Windows 8

In Windows, you can run programs as a different user than the currently signed in user.

Here's How:
1. Open Task Manager in more details view.
2. Click/tap on the Details tab. (see screenshot below)
3. Look for the program's EXE file listed under the Name column.
4. Under the User name column for that program, you will see the name of the user account that it is running as.
5. When finished, you can close Task Manager if you like.
