How to Create a "Slide to Shut down" Shortcut in Windows 8.1
Information
Windows 8.1 introduces a new "Slide to Shut down" feature to be able to shut down your PC by simply sliding a touch screen down, or dragging a screen down. So far you are only able to use this feature by running the SlideToShutDown.exe file. Perhaps "Slide to Shut down" will be more integrated in the Windows 8.1 RTM (final) release.
This tutorial will show you how to download or create a "Slide to Shut down" shortcut to use to shut down your Windows 8.1 or Windows RT 8.1 PC or device.
