To Return Back to IE10 Metro View
Push the pointer into the left border of the screen, the previously opened app (ex: Metro IE10) will show up as a thumbnail. You can click on this thumbnail to toggle between them now. NOTE: You can also press Windows + ALT + Tab to see the opened apps for this

Close the IE10 window on the desktop. (see screenshot below step 3) 2.
Click on the Start
button, or press the Windows
key to return to the Metro "Start" screen. 3.
Click on the Internet Explorer
app icon on the Metro "Start" screen. (see example screenshot at top of tutorial) NOTE: Since IE10 Metro is suspended at step 3, if your system runs low on memory, Windows 8 may close IE10 Metro instead of leaving it as suspended. If IE10 is still suspended, then it will open right were you left off. If IE10 Metro was closed, then you will have to manually go back to the website as normal instead
