Shawn, please fix this.
I came across this:

I HATE Windows 8 but here may be a fix...

i lost tiles in Windows 8...

copy and paste into a admin prompt...

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml

hit Enter.

Now in that same Administrator Command Prompt type or paste:

start "" "ms-windows-store:"

Love y'all, merry Christmas
Carmine

Hello Carmine,

The first part in your post would be to re-register the Store. The next part in your post is just a command to open the Store.

Where was this from? :)

I followed all the directions, replaced the store program/app/tile and it still doesn't work. It takes a little longer, but it still just returns me to the desktop, just as it had before.

Pulling Hair out(not much left). Scenario : Windows Store. : "USED" to say on the Tile "26"(imagine that meant 26 UPdates, dunno). Clicked on it because it said "UPdate now to 8.1", then it flashes, and goes back to the APPS w/Start with "26" gone. Photo Tile is missing also. Read and followed "Silverhand92's" Thread. NOW, I get this(SEE Attachment). Capturefigures.PNG I have changed Accounts again, doesn't work. Tried "diago", DISM RestoreHealth,SFC /scannow, etc etc.
