How to Add a "MMC Snap-ins" Cascading Desktop Context Menu in Windows 8

This tutorial will show you how to add or remove a cascading (expandable) MMC snap-ins menu to the desktop context menu for all users in Windows 8.
You must be signed in as an administrator to be able to add or remove the "MMC snap-ins" context menus from the desktop.

Microsoft Management Console (MMC) Snap-ins:
- Authorization Manager
- Certificates Manager (Current User)
- Certificates Manager (Local Computer)
- Component Services
- Computer Management
- Device Manager
- Disk Management
- Event Viewer
- Local Group Policy Editor - Only available in Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Enterprise.
- Local Security Policy - Only available in Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Enterprise.
- Local Users and Groups - Only available in Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Enterprise.
- Microsoft Management Console
- NAP Client Configuration
- Performance Monitor
- Print Management - Only available in Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Enterprise.
- Resultant Set of Policy - Only available in Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Enterprise.
- Shared Folders
- Services
- Task Scheduler
- TPM Management
- Windows Firewall with Advanced Security
- WMI Control
EXAMPLE: "MMC Snap-ins" Cascading Context Menu
Here's How:
1. Do step 2, 3, or 4 below for what you would like to do.
2. Add "MMC Snap-ins" to Desktop Context Menu in Windows 8 and Windows RT
A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 5 below.
Add_MMC_Snap-ins_to_Desktop_Context_Menu.reg
3. Add "MMC Snap-ins" to Desktop Context Menu in Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Enterprise
A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 5 below.
Add_Pro_MMC_Snap-ins_to_Desktop_Context_Menu.reg
4. To Remove "MMC Snap-ins" from the Desktop Context Menu
NOTE: This will remove the context menu for both step 2 and 3 above.
A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 5 below.
Remove_MMC_Snap-ins_from_Desktop_Context_Menu.reg
5. Save the REG file to your desktop.
6. Double click/tap on the REG file to merge it.
7. Click/tap on Run, Yes (UAC), Yes, and OK when prompted to approve the merge.
8. When finished, you can delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.
9. Right click or press and hold on your desktop to see the change.
NOTE: You could press the Windows+ D keys to go to the desktop.
