tablet w8.1 - how to burn install.wim to usb - factory

I try some files like dism, recimg, imagex and gimagex and im not be abble to set customrefresh.wim to system with recimg command..... dism does not work or anithing it does not show me any command error and does not perform the action when i try to launch a batch file or command. Imagex tell me an error when i try to append my install.wim image file from recovery partition of my damaged pc Tablet Windows 8.1. when i make winpe media and burn it to usb, i can launch setup but Windows 8 tell me an error... install.wim is not present in this device but its in device!!!!! install.wim are in sources folder.....


anyone can tell my how to fix my device?

I own a chinesse table pc called chuwi vx8 3g

I need driver for this issue. Anyone have a reference?

Im try to burn content from my recovery partition to any device. I want install Windows or reset it. i buy new Tablet and put strong password to account and i need to log off to do the commands to make a usb whit partition recovery in and next im in logon screen without any chance of run explorer.exe why i donot remember account pasword.... next i try download and install Windows. i install Enterprise versión and macrium reflect and i make a backup file from install.wim.



Now i want to reset restore my Tablet by installing Windows from install.wim.



I want to put it back to Factory system default. it have 1 month since i buy it..... in 3 days i break it xD



asume that now i have my Tablet without touchscreendrivers i need external mouse and keyboar and do no have wifi.......... 3g does not work. I do no find drivers for my device on google

Type Recovery on your start screen and the recovery wizard will show up. You need a 32GB stick for 64bit - or many DVDs, LOL. 32bit Instant Go devices need 8GB, other 32bit I don't know.

i make a usb with create recovery drive option same as you did, but when the operation has finished then reinstall for me the Windows 8 Enterprise. From the 25gb partition of my 32gb Tablet pc. My tablet have 4 partitions. 2 bettwen 10-300mb recovery partition and primary partition


I want to install on the big partition (primary partition) the recovery partition. It contain install.wim file



HoW to apply it to primary partition?

I think i need to burn it to any device,


1 i try to go control panel - recovery - make recovery media - check box to also copy the recovery partition (same as you did) but when device setup complete all task my tablet do not return to Factory defaults settings stored on recovery partition. they return to Windows Enterprise because i make the recovery usb drive in Windows 8 entéprise (on my Tablet, not return to Factory defaults) (touchscreen dont work and also do not have virtual keyboard... and so much more)

2 i make bootable winpe, with customrefresh.wim (install.wim of my Tablet.. i change the name to it) i launch winpe, it shows me cmd i launch Windows setup, but it tell me install.wim is not present in device.

3 i try to check health status of recovery partition and fix it if is corrupted, but command line shows me all are okay
with power iso, i try to open it and tell me is not correct format or invalid image.
7-zip open .wim file, but only shows to me 5 .msi installer(updates or anithing)

4 - read the first post.they have the issue i related with dism, imagex, recimg....... Now i go to try other time to see any change and post here


asume i only have the recovery partition untouched

'in the primary partition i make much changes since i buy my table 1 moth ago, reinstall, format...


Tell me any way to perform fix pls

3 - tell me any issue related to dism imagex recimg (paste link to tutorial thath really work) if not work do not paste... try it first i search over a days google and bing but i do no repair my Tableton!!!!

Dism /Get-ImageInfo /imagefile:M:\Images\install.wim /Index:1

Run that command from the command prompt(admin) - changing the drive letter and folder - to your path to the install.wim

Also from Cmd(admin) type

diskpart
list volume
select disk 0
list partition
exit
reagentc /info

post a pic of the cmd prompt windows

What INSTALL.wim are you using? And from where did you get it??

And when did you make the Customrefresh.wim? win8 or enterprize?

The biggest issue I think you are facing is that your Tablet may be using WimBoot images - because if you over wrote the Install.wim - you are pretty much done..

As you said, nothing works, thats because the drivers need to be preinstalled into the boot wim and install wim files before being applied to the disk..

You just can not clean install most newer tablets, without really screwing them up..

Customrefresh.wim is install.wim file that ive backup it last with macrium reflect from the genuine recovery partition on my Tablet. I only change the name to make winpe. For other task leave it and do not rename. My tablet run Windows 8

I do not use wimboot images, but if is the deal to fix my computer i wan try. I read Microsoft site how to make wimboot image if you know size of partition, but first i want try dism, imagex recimg winpe or winre

My tablet run out of battery. It has under 10% i need to charge it few hours. NEXT I POST HERE

I Do not try on chuwi i try in my other Tablet this screen shot is not chuwi, is other Tablet that contain backup image file from genuine recovery partition of chuwi vx8 3g. next i try on chuwi and post here. But i think is the same..... any idea???
