Is there a right click on a touch screen?

If so what is the procedure?

Yes. Usually you would tap and hold until you see a small translucent white square appear, then release to see the right click menu.

I find that I can also two-finger-tap, with the leftmost finger on the item in question.

Really? I know that worked in Windows 7, but it was removed from 8/8.1 and definitely doesn't work for me (which is a shame). Are you using particular drivers/software that have this feature maybe?

My Acer laptop has an "Elan Smart-Pad" and it has settings for two-finger and three-finger taps. I have the two finger set for right click and three finger set for middle-click (opens links in a new tab). The driver version is 11.6.19.204. I don't know if that setting affects the touch screen, but that's the only one I changed...
