I am on my 3rd Samsung XE500T1C tablet in 3 weeks. The 1st wouldn't stay connected to the internet, so the vendor warranted it. The 2nd would not update a Digitizer driver so Samsung Tech Support had me to reinstall Windows 8 and that reinstall resulted in a continous reboot loop on the internal 64gb SSD, so the vendor warranted tablet 2. Now I am on my 3rd and final 500T1C tablet because the vendor stated if this one fails it is between me and Samgung. I DO NOT BELIEVE the problem is the Samsung tablet, I believe the problem is Windows 8.
My question is, BEFORE I turn-on and boot up this machine are there any tips/tricks that can be done to improve how the pre-loaded Windows 8 installs & configures itself?
The machine is equipped with an internal 64gb SSD and I've installed a 64gb MicroSD card. In the two previous machines once Windows 8 installs I have lost 32gb or more of drive space and haven't installed ANY programs or data.
I would like to keep the internal SSD deciated to the OS and use the SD card for user accounts and data.
Anyone have any SAFE & RELIABLE methods onhow to accomplish this task?
Any and all help would be appreciated.
