Hello Drugo,

Agreed. It appears that you may have encrypted files with NTFS Encryption. You can use the method in the tutorial below to see if you do have any encrypted files on your drive.

Encrypted Files - Find All on the Local Hard Drives - Windows 7 Help Forums

If you do, you could either decrypt them, or back up the certificate.

Encrypt or Decrypt a Folder or File

Encrypted File System (EFS) Certificate Backup

Hi
i got only this
C:\Users\Myname\AppData\Roaming\FastPictureViewer\Geocache\ReverseGeocache.dat

i run cmd like administrator , but does cipher /U /N /H > %UserProfile%\Desktop\Encrypted-Files.txt search for encrypt file for all my hard disks ? if i have an external hard disk us3 , does this command check all the files inside my external hard disk ?

thanks Brink

It'll search all your local drives (internal and external) that use the NTFS file system for encrypted files.

You could decrypt the file to not have to worry about it anymore.

Ok, good. Are you no longer getting the message to backup the certificate?
