I have done an Avast scan and the results are that it has found evidence of Grime in on my pc, System Settings and unnecessary apps. Is grime, malware\bloat? I have done windows update, troubleshoot, disk cleanup, run ccleaner, Delfix, Adware cleaner, sfc scan, dism..../restorehealth, chkdsk scan, malwarebytes and superantispyware but I have still got this grime and I don't know how to get rid of it because I just don't know what it is. Can anyone help please?

I also have Avast, including GrimeFighter. I have it disabled 'cause I do not know what the very next menu will be if, at the found grime menu, I click next. I need to know if I will be given a listing of said grime along with a line-item veto. If GrimeFighter is similar to operations of the many PC fixers, PC clean-ups, PC tuneups, etc. -- then it will stay disabled.

Not that I know of, but I do get alarmed when a scan shows that I have grime, but I don't know exactly where to find it.

Do you have the Avast free or do you have a subscription? If you have done a scan that shows grime is an issue and you need to resolve with Grimefighter then you have to pay for Grimefighter. Sorry I don't know if you have customized Grimefighter whether it shows a menu of the issues that have been resolved.

Yes i have avast Premiere 2015 but i never used Grimefighter except once and it didn't find anything, i wouldn't bother doing all these stuff if my PC is running well without anyproblems.

Then there is no need to be afraid just ignore that Grime as long as you have all this protective programs.
In my opinion if it was really a Grime GrimeFIghter should have fixed it.
Thats it Brother just move on.

Concerning Avast - anyone use that phantom harddrive space function, similar to sandboxie?
