Bitlocker without two-factor authentication?

Is it possible to have Bitlocker active without having to have a TPM chip, typing an additional password, or sticking in a USB key at boot? Given how waking up from sleep - which is far more common than cold booting/rebooting on laptops and other mobile devices that can actually get stolen - does not require any of these things, I don't see how they realistically improve security...

Alternatively, is it at least possible to use Windows user accounts instead of Bitlocker-specific credentials to unlock the boot drive? PGP can autologin users based on the (Windows) password entered to decrypt the drive, completely bypassing the Windows login screen. I'm hoping Bitlocker has something similar.
