Solved paint trouble (i think this goes here) and virus

when adding words to a document in paint, if after I'm done I find 1 or 2 words misspelled. but when I try to correct the spelling, nothing happens. how do I correct spelling on a document in paint that is finished?


now for the virus. it is in the restart . when I turn off this thing for the night I find, under "turn off computer"
I find the words: update and restart. one of the things it does it changes my search engine to conduit. any
body got any ideas on how to get rid this thing.

Conduit can be a PITA to remove. I have not experienced it personally but know some that have. A lot of info is available regarding what it is and how to remove it just Google Conduit. This is just one example of a removal process. Remove Conduit Toolbar and search.conduit.com (Uninstall Guide) but there are others. After you look at the instructions I think you will see why it's a PITA.

There may also be a removal tutorial in the tutorial section of this forum (see top of page for Tutorials) I gave a quick look but couldn't find anything. I am sure others will respond with removal tips.

In paint, after text box is gone you can't change text any more, it becomes part of the picture and stays like that. For those things to do you need a paint program that supports layers, Paint doesn't.

A good, free alternative to paint is Paint.Net It has good basic functions with plug ins you can d/l
