I try so hard to avoid adware, pop ups and such, but these sites sneak them in if they can.

I use Revounistaller to get rid of unwanted progs and I swear by it, but even after using it today, and it showed it had been removed, up to an hour ago, it was still appearing.

So...safe sites if you know any

This Optomizer Pro, if you know much about it

Have you tried running any malware removal programs, such as Malwarebytes?

If not, please d/l it, the free version will work fine, make sure to uncheck the "start pro trial version" & do a full system scan with it. Check the box of anything it finds & let Mbam quarantine it.

Also, see this article:

How to Remove PC Optimizer Pro (Uninstall Guide)

It also wouldn't hurt to d/l & run these programs:.

AdwCleaner

AdwCleaner Download

TDSSKiller (To rule out the possibility of a rootkit)

TDSSKiller Download

I'd get the latest version, install it, then uninstall it though the windows installer, restart your PC.

Those links are safe. More-then-likely the malware trying to protect itself.

PC Optimizer Pro it’s technically not a virus, but it does exhibit plenty of malicious traits, such as rootkit capabilities to hook deep into the operating system, browser hijacking, and in general just interfering with the user experience.

Hello,
If PC optimizer Pro Latest Program has come bundled with an updater service or registration service.
I believe it can be removed out of start up, or MS configuration Utility/+ Services. As well to delete the service with Auto runs.
This could help remedy the issue of the updater service.
