So for a few days in a row my PC has been playing music whenever I open IE11. I figured maybe one of those self-starting video ads, or perhaps even a browser hijack or virus....
I had 2 home pages, Bing and MSN, with MSN on top. To make sure it wasn't malicious, I ran complete virus scans using NOD32, Kaspersky's root kit tool, Malwarebytes rootkit tool, etc. All came up clean...
To be really sure, I installed a recent disk image from 2 or 3 weeks ago. Ah, I thought, all is well. I fired up the PC, opened IE11 and the frickin' music started again!
I switched to the tab with Bing open in it to search on the problem and...there was a "live" wallpaper with a frickin' bird singing! Opera no less!
Good one, MS. Ya got me fair and square...
